Cosmic Power

Cosmic Power

Historically, Scorpio has been the most common zodiac sign for world leaders.

As a Capricorn sun sign, I’m going to try to not take that personally. While I’m not an astrology expert or fanatic, I have found that taking a closer look at my birth chart and the traits associated with the placement of planets in my life has been hugely helpful in self-mastery. I’m a firm believer in the idea that I can’t control the world around me, I can only control my reaction to it. A deeper understanding of my instincts, core beliefs, values, and personality traits helps me better prepare for all the possible reactions that I could have to things happening around me.

In this week’s episode of Do What You Can For The People, I chat with one of my OG UMiami babes, Cassandra Oswald, about how to use astrology to self-reflect. We talk about the history of astrology, the practical applications of it over time, and do a live analysis of my birth chart. I learned so much about reading the skies and myself - I hope you guys enjoy this very special and personal episode!

Cassandra is currently pursuing a masters degree in art therapy and is one of the most talented, witchy artists I know. She has designed the Sacred Arts Book of Hours in partnership with Briana Saussy and makes one-of-a-kind block prints (carved and hand-pulled) inspired by the natural world and emblems of elemental power.
